Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Profil Desa Berbasis Web

Abstract

A lack of understanding of information technology has caused inefficiencies in services to the public. This often forces residents to visit the village office in person to obtain information, which is still manually delivered through printed media, resulting in time and cost inefficiencies and not always reaching the target audience. To address this issue, the author designed and developed a web-based Village Profile Information System in Rombasan Village with the aim of improving the efficiency of disseminating village information, including information related to public services, village activities, and regional potential. The system is designed using the waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, code development, testing, and implementation. The programming language used is PHP, with MySQL as the database. The system is also equipped with an aid-checking feature to facilitate the public in receiving information from village administrators. This system is able to provide faster, more accurate, and more efficient access to information for the community, as well as increase transparency in village management.
