The research results show that the implementation of fair, consistent, and friendly rewards and punishments is effective in developing selfregulation in early childhood. rewards consist of verbal forms (praise) and non-verbal forms (smiles, stickers) that serve as motivation and reinforcement of positive behavior, while punishments in the form of reprimands and simple self-reflection help children understand behavioral boundaries without hurting them. A positive impact is seen in increased school attendance discipline and focus during learning. Important implementation principles include: focusing on behavior not the perpetrator, balancing rewards and punishments, and punishing without emotion. This research concludes that a combination of educative rewards and punishments can support the social-emotional development of early childhood and form strong self-regulation as a foundation for later life.
