About the Journal

Assuq: International Journal of Islamic Economic Studies (AIJIES) is a peer-reviewed academic journal with the ISSN 000-000 (online). It is published by the Master of Sharia Economics Program at the Postgraduate School of Universitas Annuqayah. The journal is released biannually in June and December in collaboration with the Indonesian Islamic Economics Association. First published in March 2025, AIJIES aims to be a research platform for the advancement of Islamic economics and business, with a focus on studies conducted by scholars and researchers in developing countries.
